Annual Night of Illumination
This year’s commemorative lantern will be on display along with a dazzling arrangement of lanterns through out the auditorium. The evening finishes with ringing the bell signaling our community to illuminate the lanterns on their porches. The village will be filled with light kicking off the summer season of events.

Picnic Dinner
Picnic Dinner will start around 5:30. We will go into the auditorium at around 8 for the community sing, announcement of this year's honoree and lighting of the lanterns.
Tables & chairs will be set up under tents behind the auditorium. You are welcome to bring your own tables & chairs in case you want to be sure you have the seating you need. In order to give the committee time & space to set up, please hold off reserving seats or placing your own tables until 1pm.
Dinner will be picnic style again this year. In other words, bring your own dinner food. You also need to provide your own drinks, tableware and utensils. There will not be a food truck this year. Desserts will be served pot luck style. While we welcome you to bring something, it is optional. We do ask that desserts be "finger friendly" (as in easy to just pick up—cookies, cupcakes, or put cut whatever) and served on disposable tableware).
