Fundraiser to benefit the Round Lake Auditorium
The Round Lake Auditorium is at the center of Round Lake Village and is on the state and national registers for historic places. It houses a pipe organ built in 1847 which was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2016. The Auditorium is in active use and hosts concerts, performances, book sales, exhibitions, and community events every summer. Both the building and the organ need constant attention and funds to keep them going. particularly after the previous year.
The fundraiser is an annual event begun by concerned residents and now sponsored by the Association to Preserve/Protect/Plan Round Lake (“AP3”). AP3 is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) entity operating as a “friends of ” group for the Auditorium. The event features food, music, and activities, including a silent auction.
